Moventas has been developing a new product to the Exceed technology. The Exceed 4MW+ gearbox has successfully completed long-time overload test in January at Moventas Research and Technology center in Finland.
The 4MW+ gearbox has gone through a verification process supervised by a classification body, a turbine manufacturer and Moventas employees. Next the first gearbox will be installed in a wind turbine for further validation measurements in actual operating conditions.
