EDF EN do Brasil has placed an order for the 117MW Ventos da Bahia — Phase 2 project to be built in the northeastern state of Bahia. The order includes supply and installation of 53 units of V110-2.0MW turbines that will be manufactured in Brazil.
A 15-year full scope Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service contract is also included in the contract. Wind turbine delivery is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2018, whilst commissioning is expected for the third quarter of 2018.
Vestas also re-starts market activities in Ukraine with an order from Karpatenwind LLC for 6 V126-3.45MW. The order comprises supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a 10-year full-scope Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service agreement. The wind turbines will be installed at Staryi Sambir in the Lviv region in western Ukraine. Wind turbine delivery and commissioning is planned for the second quarter of 2017.
Further Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order totaling 131MW in the USA comprising V112-3.45MW turbine components that enable future project pipeline. The customer name has not been disclosed at the customer's request.
Finally Avangrid Renewables has ordered 30MW of 3.0MW turbine components. The order enables future project pipeline and includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines.
