UpWind Solutions has signed a multi-site service contract with Berkshire Hathaway Energy and its subsidiaries MidAmerican Energy Co. and PacifiCorp, to provide maintenance services for 1.75GW of GE 1.5 S & SLE turbines across 15 sites located in Iowa, Wyoming, and Oregon, USA.
UpWind Solutions was acquired by Vestas in December 2015, in recognition that customers are increasingly demanding a life-time fleetwide service provider that can maximize performance across a variety of turbine models.
