wpd europe GmbH, a subsidiary of wpd AG, is selling eight French onshore wind energy projects to Innergex Renewable Energy from Canada. Seven wind farms with a total installed power of 87MW are already in operation, one further project is under construction. All eight wind farms with a total output of 131MW are located in the north of France. The sizes of the individual projects range from four to 22 turbines, among them 52 Enercon and ten Nordex turbines. wpd windmanager GmbH & Co. KG remains responsible for the commercial management and technical operation of the wind farms.
