Beothuk Energy has announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Talon Energy Services. Talon, which has also acquired an interest in Beothuk, will work with Beothuk to develop and construct its offshore wind projects in Atlantic Canada and the USA.
Talon provides energy services and solutions to the oil & gas, resource, heavy industrial, and now the offshore wind sectors. Beothuk is planning to construct a 180MW wind farm in St. George’s Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), a gravity based substructure manufacturing facility at the Port of Corner Brook, NL and a service and staging facility at Port Harmon, Stephenville, NL.
