Nantong Dongtai New Energy Equipment, a Chinese producer of rotor blades for wind turbines has ordered a 2.0MW 57.0 metres WC III rotor blade design.
This rotor blade is the longest blade in the 2MW segment using a limited pitch circle diameter. The blade is already fully certified by TUV Rheinland. The possibility for the limited pitch circle diameter 2,110mm for the 57.0 metres rotor blade design is achieved by the We4Ce root bushing solution. Since 2012 more than 20,000 rotor blades are produced with this fully certified We4Ce root bushing solution in the 1.5MW up till 5.0MW segments.
