GEV Wind Power has launched its fixed price blade maintenance service, available to both onshore and offshore site owners.
The service is available as part of GEV’s Preventative Maintenance Programme (PMP) and provides site owners with the security of a scheduled maintenance programme at pre-agreed cost. GEV’s PMP offering includes a pre-assessment of all turbine blades using high resolution pano-imaging technology, from which a maintenance schedule is produced. Technicians are then able to concentrate on the blades requiring priority maintenance and all in-depth reporting is completed via GEV’s I-RIS tablet-based app.
