The GEV Intuitive Reporting and Inspection System (I-RIS), which is mounted on a technician’s iPad, enables near real-time reporting to be collected, and document a turbine’s maintenance activity.
I-RIS has been developed to minimise errors and streamline the cumbersome process of manually collating reports and timesheets. Whilst providing a simple front-end interface for technicians its web-based back-end has been developed to provide project management options, resource allocation and KPI monitoring. Reports within I-RIS can be customised to match individual client requirements and future development of the App will enable clients to view the ‘live’ maintenance condition of every asset allocated to GEV Wind Power.
