The UK's decision to end support for land-based wind could stop 250 projects that would have featured 2,500 turbines with a total capacity of 7.1GW.

Many developers won't be able to complete their projects by the time the country's Renewables Obligation ends next April. Support for the industry should be in line with the country's climate change goals and work to protect existing investments.
