AMSC has reported financial results for its fourth quarter and full year fiscal 2014 ended March 31, 2015. Revenues for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 were US$ 25.1 million, compared with US$ 16.3 million for the same period of fiscal 2013 and US$ 21.3 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2014.
The year over year and quarter over quarter increase in revenues was due to higher Wind segment revenues in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014. AMSC's net loss for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 decreased to US$ 3.4 million from US$ 22.7 million for the same period of fiscal 2013. Revenues for the full year fiscal 2014 were US$ 70.5 million as compared to US$ 84.1 million in fiscal year 2013. AMSC reported a net loss for full year fiscal 2014 of US$ 48.7 million compared to a net loss of US$ 56.3 million for fiscal year 2013. For the first quarter ending June 30, 2015, AMSC expects that its revenues will be in the range of US$ 22 million to US$ 24 million. The Company's net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2015 is expected to be less than US$ 9.0 million.
