Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order in Minnesota, USA, for 39 V110-2.0 MW turbines, totalling 78 MW from Sempra U.S. Gas & Power, LCC for the Black Oak project.
The contract covers supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year Active Output Management (AOM) 5000 service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2016.
