AMBAU has received the order to design and produce 54 monopiles and transition pieces for the Nordsee One-project.
Starting in June 2015, 54 monopiles and transition pieces for the project will be produced in the AMBAU facilities in Bremen and Cuxhaven on behalf of Nordsee One GmbH. These 54 foundations consist of a total mass of approximately 50.000 to of steel. The monopiles and transition pieces will be screwed together and will be equipped with a sealing system that has been jointly invented and tested by engineers of RWE Innogy and AMBAU.
