Iberdrola and Bladt Industries have signed a contract for the fabrication of41 jacket foundations and 164 pin piles. The fabrication of the Wikinger project will start up in the spring of 2015 at the Lindø facilities in Denmark.
The first jackets are planned to be delivered in the spring of 2016. The jacket foundations will be installed in water depths of up to 42 meters, each with a weight of approximately 600 tons and a footprint of 23x23 meters. The Wikinger Offshore Wind Farmwill consist of 70 wind turbines with a total capacity of 350 MW.
