WindFarm Release 5 is being developed and it is expected to be available later this year. However, because of changing visualisation guidelines it has been necessary to make some new features of Release 5 available for use before its full release.
As a result a pre-release has been produced for new users and those that upgrade. It is primarily targeted at the new Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) guidelines and includes ridge line drawing, fog, aviation lights and a re-projection tool in the Photomontage module. The fog and aviation lights are required for some French wind farms. Also visibility can be displayed in the ZVI module up to a radius defined from individual turbines as well as the more usual display from the centre of the wind farm.
