Inox Wind has signed an MoU with Gujarat Government entailing an investment of Rs 4,500 crore to set up about 700MW wind capacity in Gujarat.
Within 5 years the company wants to expand and developing projects in five states in India (Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Andhra Pradesh). The company has an order book of 1,258MW as of December 31. Inox Wind has also announced that it will invest to set up a wind turbine manufacturing unit in the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh.
