Siemens has been awarded another order from Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Development) to supply and install 87 SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines (2.3MW each) for the Logan’s Gap Wind project in the USA.
The 200MW project is located in Comanche County, Texas. Installation of the wind turbines at project is scheduled to begin this year, with the start of operations expected for autumn 2015. A service and maintenance agreement was also signed.
