Windtech International - Transmission line for Kenyan wind farm secures financing

The African Development Bank has signed a contract to give Ketraco a partial risk guarantee to build a transmission line that will connect the Lake Turkana wind farm in Kenya to the grid. The 310MW wind farm is expected to begin generating power in 2017.
