Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 14 V126-3.3MW turbines for a wind power project in Sweden. The wind power plant Brotorp, with a total capacity of 46.2MW, will be installed in Småland in the municipality of Mönsterås.
Turbine delivery is planned to begin in the third quarter of 2015 with commissioning expected completed in the fourth quarter of 2015. The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the 14 V126-3.3 MW turbines, along with a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution and a 10-year full-scope service package (AOM 5000). Further Vestas has received an order for 15 V112-3.3MW turbines for the 49.5MW Larimar wind power plant in Enriquillo, Dominican Republic. The 15 wind turbines for this supply-only contract are expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2015 and commissioned by the first quarter of 2016.
