DONG Energyand Nexans have signed a new framework agreement for the delivery of up to 1,750 kilometres of submarine cables for wind farms off the British coast.
The cables will be used for connecting turbines to each other and to the offshore transformer platforms. The framework agreement runs until the end of 2020 and can be extended by two years. Dong Energy also has the option of expanding the scope of services to include the delivery and installation of cable accessories.
