Invenergy Wind has announced that it has arranged project financing for its 60MW Spring Canyon Expansion Wind Energy Center (Spring Canyon Expansion), which currently is under construction in Logan County, Colorado, USA.
Rabobank Nederland, New York Branch acted as the Sole Lead Arranger, Administrative Agent, and Lender for the transaction. Spring Canyon Expansion is located near the Town of Peetz, approximately 130 miles northeast of the City of Fort Collins. The facility is comprised of two phases, Spring Canyon II and III, and will consist of 35 GE 1.7-100 MW wind turbines. Commercial operation is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2014, with output purchased by the Fort Collins-based Platte River Power Authority through a 25-year agreement.
