K2 Management has announced that GS Yeongyang Windpower (an affiliate of GS E&R) has chosen K2 Management as Owner’s Engineer for its 59.4MW YeongYang Wind Farm project, located in YoengYang County in South Korea.
K2 Management has earlier assisted GS E&R and GS Yeongyang Windpower in closing the wind turbine supply contract for the project, scheduled for commissioning November 2015. Scope of work for K2 Management includes inspection of WTG components at harbor side, securing inland transport of WTG components, inspection of WTG components at project site, planning of installation of cabling and turbines, HSEQ management and project management.
