Acciona Windpower (AWP) has signed a turbine supply contract in Brazil with Atlantic Energias Renováveis for a total of 153MW.
The contract includes the supply and assembly of 51 AW 125/3000 turbines, of 3MW capacity each and 125 meters rotor diameter, for the Santa Vitória do Palmar wind farm in the state of Río Grande do Sul. The turbines will be mounted on 120-meter-high concrete towers. The company has also signed a contract for the operation and maintenance of the turbines for a period of 15 years.
