The South Australian government has approved the AUS$ 1.5 billion Ceres Wind Farm with 197 2MW Senvion turbines.

The approval is for up to 197 wind turbines on the Yorke Peninsula with no overhead power lines and an undersea cable across the Gulf St Vincent, connecting the project into the South Australian transmission network. The project aims to start by the end of 2014 and be completed in 2016.
