Equity infrastructure company Platina Partners LLP (Platina) and Swedish onshore wind developer Arise Windpower AB (Arise) have opened the €336 million Jädraås wind farm.
The wind farm utilises the 66 Vestas V112 turbine which stands at a height of 175 metres. The project was constructed on time and on budget in a period of less than 18 months. Equity finance for the project was provided 50% by Arise and 50% by Platina. The Jädraås windfarm is located 220km to the north of Stockholm, close to the town of Gävle.
