Global Blade Technology has been working with XANT, a manufacturer of mid-sized wind turbines, to design the new blade for the XANT 100kW Wind turbine.
GBT was also contracted to design and develop the tooling required for the project. The limited series production capability of GBT also allows it to produce a few blades, to be used for static testing and on a test turbine. GBT is following DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) methodologies to effectively manage the project.
