As of 15 May, Martin Huss is employed as new regional manager and managing director of A2SEA GmbH. Martin will be operating from A2SEA’s Hamburg office, and work with all three A2SEA business units: Installation, Cabling, and Service and Logistics.
Holding a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Martin has worked within the wind energy sector for more than 17 years. His journey began at Vestas Wind Systems, where he held several international management positions. Between 2002 and 2007, he became part of the A2SEA success story, acting as the company’s CSO. In 2007, Martin joined SSE to take on responsibility for offshore wind activities, later moving to head up PMSS Deutsche Wind Consult GmbH. He will be responsible in developing the designated region for A2SEA, which includes Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands.
