DNV announces that it has obtained accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for power quality testing on wind turbines.
A2LA’s accreditation for power quality testing of wind turbines is in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for power quality testing per the IEC 61400-21 power quality testing standard for wind turbines. This new accredited service supplements the accredited wind turbine power performance, acoustic noise, and mechanical loads testing already being conducted and allows DNV to perform all of the testing required for type certification.
