The company has recently attracted € 10 million in new investment to further develop SynaptiQ, an independent monitoring and reporting platform which can enable performance increases of 2 to 7% for multi-technology renewable energy portfolios.
The software platform has recently been connected to the 165MW Belwind offshore wind farm. The company also recently reinforced their management team. Bruce Douglas, the Chief Operating Officer of the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), joined 3E as Sales and Marketing Director at the beginning of April. He worked at EWEA for 10 years before joining 3E and has over 15 years of senior business management, sales and marketing experience in the renewable energy sector. Wim Janssen joined 3E in early June, as Director of 3E’s Consultancy Unit in charge of the company’s service offering in Wind, Solar, Buildings and Grids. Wim Janssen was previously Senior Investment Manager at DG Infra, COO of international PV development company Enfinity and has held several management positions at Siemens.
