Google and Citigroup said that they will each commit an additional US$ 102 million to Terra-Gen Power's proposed Alta Wind Energy Center (AWEC) in Tehachapi, CA.
In May, the two companies poured US$ 55 million each into AWEC. AWEC is expected to deliver 1,020MW of electricity by the end of 2011 and 1,550MW when it becomes fully operational.
