juwi hast just opened offices in South Africa and Chile. All activities in South Africa will be coordinated from the office in Stellenbosch, located approximately 50 kilometres from Cape Town.
At the moment, juwi is focusing on wind energy in South Africa. The company wants to construct plants with a total output of 200 to 300MW within the next nine years. The subsidiary juwi Energías Renovables de Chile Limitada has opened an office in the capital Santiago de Chile. Since its foundation, juwi Energías Renovables de Chile Limitada has worked extensively on wind project acquisition and new project possibilities in the region. First wind measurements in the north of the country are going to start shortly.
