Siemens Power Generation’s wind power division has received an order for 161MW of wind turbines for the Wildorado Wind Ranch, which will be located near Amarillo, Texas, USA.
The scope of supply consists of seventy 2.3MW MK II turbines, including towers and transportation to the site, installation, start-up and commissioning, and a 5-year service and maintenance agreement. The project is scheduled for commissioning in spring 2007. The Wildorado Wind Ranch was developed by Cielo Wind Power, LP, of Austin, Texas, in conjunction with Edison Mission Group (EMG) of Irvine, California.
