Econnect Construction Limited has secured a contract with Dean and Dyball Construction Ltd. for the electrical works at Ranson Moor wind farm near March in Cambridgeshire.
The project will consist of three Gamesa G80 2MW turbines connected at 33kV. Econnect Construction’s design will allow for further expansion by the owner, Fenpower. Econnect Construction’s scope of work will include the contestable works for the project. Construction will begin in July 2006 with Econnect mobilising to site in October 2006. First energisation of the site is scheduled for March 2007.
