Econnect Construction has secured a further contract for a wind farm in Scotland, this time from R J McLeod (Contractors) Ltd, to undertake the electrical balance of plant works for Eco2’s first wind farm, the 12.25MW Dummuies scheme near Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
The project will comprise seven Vestas V66 machines and work is scheduled to commence in July/August 2006. Econnect Construction will be responsible for the detailed electrical engineering design, supply, delivery, installation, procurement, commissioning, testing and warranty of the wind farm balance of plant works including the electrical infrastructure.
