GH provides technical support for offshore wind farm in Germany



Garrad Hassan (GH) is providing technical support to the Bard Offshore 1 Wind Farm in Germany.

Garrad Hassan’s offshore specialists have been technical advisors to the project company, Ocean Breeze, since 2008 and are currently advising the potential equity (SüdWestStrom/WV) and debt providers (HVB/Unicreditgroup). Bard Offshore 1 is Germany’s first fully commercial offshore wind farm and will be of 400MW rated power, located in the challenging environment of the German Bight, with fabrication well-advanced and construction underway.
