WindLogics has announced the addition of a climatologist, meteorologist, IT systems and support leader and marketing manager. With the addition of these staff, WindLogics now employs nearly 40 professionals at its headquarters in St. Paul and research center in Grand Rapids, MN, USA and plans to double staffing in 2007.

Ms. Li Dong joins WindLogics as a Climatologist at the research center in Grand Rapids. Li received her Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University, with an emphasis on climate dynamics. She will be working with the Science team in the areas of climate variability and change, and long-range forecasting.

Ms. Amanda Wood has joined the company as a Wind Data Management Meteorologist in the St. Paul office, where she will support the company's Forecasting/Tower Data Management team. She holds a B.S. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mr. Paul Probst holds the new position of Team Lead-IT Systems and Support with the Operations team in St. Paul.? Over the last 18 years, Paul has held several positions in information technology and management, including his recent responsibility for managing Archway Marketing's wide area network, data and voice infrastructure, helpdesk and vendor sourcing, negotiations and purchasing for four locations in North America. Paul will be responsible for managing WindLogics' computing cluster now numbering over 600 processors and more than 130 terabytes of online storage.

Ms. Laurie Mainquist also joins the company as Marketing Manager with responsibility for the company's marketing communications programs. She has over 20 years of environmental communications experience, including similar positions at TSI Incorporated, Weston Solutions, Inc. and Ecology & Environment, Inc. Laurie holds an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in Horticulture from the University of Minnesota.
