The Lithuanian Ministry of Energy is about to launch an auction for the development of a 700MW offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea.
The government has submitted draft resolutions for public comment on the location in the Baltic Sea as well as the bidder requirements. The offshore wind farm will be built 36 kilometres offshore and installed by 2028.
