Deutsche Windtechnik has been awarded a contract to equip the Butendiek offshore wind farm with an Aircraft Detection Light System (ADLS).
The 80 Siemens SWT-3,6-120 turbines at Butendiek will be equipped with its internally developed ADLS. The installation of the system is scheduled to take place during the summer months. According to the German Federal Network Agency, the wind turbines at all offshore wind farms must be fitted with ADLS by the end of 2023.
