Global Wind Organisation has announced that Energy Ireland, as the promoting organisation for Green Tech Skillnet, will be adopting the new GWO Entry Level Framework for their Skills Connect Wind Turbine Technician Programme.
Green Tech Skillnet has developed a programme, in partnership with Skillnet Ireland, to upskill jobseekers with relevant backgrounds for new roles within the wind industry. The Framework will make the transition easier for those who want to enter the wind industry and also clarify the entry level standard. These qualifications are recognised internationally and give a clear pathway into the industry at 3 different cycles of a wind farm. Pre-assembly, Installation and O&M.
