Ørsted has announced that it will be opening a new office in Houston, Texas that will serve as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) hub for its portfolio of clean energy solutions in the USA.
Ørsted’s new Texas office will be home to approximately 80 new full-time employees, adding to its approximately 115 employees in the Austin area. Ørsted’s EPC team manages the growing company’s wide-ranging supply chain, engineering and project planning, and construction of multi-technology clean energy projects. As plans continue to advance, Ørsted will share additional details about the new office, which is scheduled to open in the second half of 2023.
