EDF Renewables has been granted planning approval by the Scottish government for its up-to-225MW Clash Gour wind farm near Forres, in Moray, northeastern Scotland.

The 48-turbine project has been developed as part of a joint development agreement with Force9 Energy. The wind farm will be built, owned and operated by EDF Renewables. The application was submitted to the Scottish government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU) at the end of December 2018.
