The Fécamp Electrical Offshore Substation is ready to sail to its destination 300 200Atlantique Offshore Energy, a Chantiers de l’Atlantique Business Unit dedicated to marine energy, has just finalised the design, construction, outfitting and onshore commissioning of the Offshore Substation (OSS) which will be soon installed at Fécamp Offshore Windfarm.
The Fécamp Offshore Windfarm is owned by EDF Renewables, EIH, a subsidiary of Enbridge and CPP Investments, and wpd. For this project, Atlantique Offshore Energy is leading a consortium with GE Grid Solutions and SDI, part of the DEME Group. The OSS will collect and transform the electricity produced by the 71 turbines of the Fécamp offshore windfarm off the coast of Normandy, France.
