Infinergy Ltd, the developer of the LZN wind farm proposal has announced that Highland Council have decided not to raise an objection to its application for a 22-turbine wind farm on the Lochluichart Estate, subject to the removal of five turbines.

.
The Ross and Cromarty Area Planning Committee voted seven votes to four not to raise an objection in their response to the Scottish Executive. Earlier in the year Infinergy held a "Meet the Buyer" business forum. Many Highland companies registered their interest in the contract opportunities that the project would bring and Infinergy will be writing to these companies in the near future to keep them up to date as the project develops. Infinergy's proposal to connect the Lochluichart wind farm into the existing transmission network at Mossford has been confirmed by National Grid.
