Eni has agreed to buy an onshore wind portfolio in Italy from fund manager Glennmont Partners as part of plans to expand its renewable energy business.
 
The Italian company will buy a 315MW portfolio consisting of 13 wind farms. BNP Paribas advised Eni on the Italian wind portfolio deal while majority owner Glennmont and PGGM Infrastructure Fund were advised by Rothschild and L&B Partners. Financial details were not disclosed.
