Poseidon Systems has announced the deployment of Poseidon’s DM4500, its wear debris condition monitoring solution, across 10 sites within the Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions wind turbine fleet.
These sites comprise of Siemens Gamesa, Suzlon, Nordex, and GE wind turbines, 402 in total. Poseidon’s wear debris monitoring is being deployed alongside Duke’s already existing vibration-based CMS to provide earlier detection gearbox faults, better fault severity and end-of-life indicators.
