Shell is taking over Vattenfall's share in NoordzeeWind CV, becoming 100% owner of the Egmond aan Zee offshore wind farm, off the Dutch coast.
The project was built in 2006 and is the first Dutch offshore wind farm. It is located between 10 and 18 kilometres off the coast at Egmond aan Zee and consists of 36 turbines and has a total capacity of 108MW.
