Capital Energy has selected GE Renewable Energy as its turbine technology partner for wind projects which will be developed in Spain between 2021 and 2023.
The companies have signed a framework agreement for 1,000MW. GE plans to manufacture parts of the turbine components in Spain. The rotor blades will be manufactured in Spain by GE’s subsidiary LM Wind Power while other parts will be sourced via the local supply chain.
