JERA plans to develop an offshore wind farm off the city of Tsugaru and the town of Ajigasawa in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
The company has submitted its Primary Environmental Impact Consideration Document for the Southern Tsugaru Offshore Wind Power Generation Project to the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry. The Project will be located off the coast of Tsugaru and Ajigasawa and include as many as 63 wind turbines with a maximum generation capacity of 600MW.
