Robur Industry Service Group has acquired the Madrid-based Renewable Engineering company Ereda (Energías Renovables y Desarrollos Alternativos) to further grow their service offering in the wind and renewable energy sector.
As part of the Robur Renewable Management Engineers (Robur RME) business, Ereda will continue to operate under its own brand within Robur Wind, which offers services for onshore and offshore wind.. Robur Wind employs around 1,000 colleagues across Europe, the Americas and Africa and generates around 1/3 of the groups’ revenue. Ereda has 16 years of engineering experience in the renewable energy sector, offering services in Spain but also in other European countries, including Eastern Europe, as well as in Latin America and Africa. Ereda is mainly active in wind, but also offers services for solar PV, biomass, energy efficiency and energy planning.
