K2 Management has been appointed to deliver consultancy services on two wind projects in Vietnam, one nearshore and one onshore wind project.
Developer Xuan Cau has engaged K2 Management as Owner’s Engineer for a 60 MW onshore wind farm in the Binh Dinh province of Vietnam. The scope of work will begin with tendering of BoP package in the pre-construction phase and full construction management through to commissioning, which is expected by end 2021.
The second mandate, also for Xuan Cau, is an Owner’s Engineer role on a nearshore wind farm located in the Soc Trang province. The project will have a capacity of 120 MW divided into two phases. The scope of work for this 18-month role includes tendering, site studies and technical design review during the pre-construction phase followed by construction monitoring and project management.
