Natural Power was recently appointed by BayWa r.e. Wind as Independent Engineer of Record for its 250MW Amadeus Wind project located north of Rotan, Texas, USA, which is currently under construction.The team undertook a full review of the project’s engineering designs, turbine technology, operating contracts, financial models and permits prior to construction commencing. Once operational, the project will deploy GE wind turbines across nearly 25,000 acres of federal, state and privately held lands, and could generate enough clean, renewable energy to power more than 75,000 homes annually.
